All of us in the Bulldog community can feel your pain. You are a very nice gentleman, and nothing can take that away from you. We all are here on this earth to do something bigger than ourselves. God has a special plan for each person, and this is just one of those bumps in the road that God uses to test each person in their journey through life.
Jon, you can still play a huge roll on this year's Bulldog football team. Every team needs a leader, on and off the field. This is a chance for you to blossom into that leader off the field. You have a chance to be inspirational to those looking up to you, letting them know that no injury will hold you down. Kids of all ages look up to you and the rest of the Bulldog family, and you need to show them how to overcome adversity.
I hope this letter finds you doing well Jon. People have been praying for you, and I know you have prayed yourself. Keep your faith strong, and don't let this hurt your relationship with your savior.
