My Guerin Gators are going to have another tough season. Low numbers and youth will be a large hurdle to overcome this year. If they by chance can string a few wins together over Leo, Hales, and St.Joes, and maybe an upset victory or two over say Gordon Tech and St.Ignautis we could be in the playoffs. Playoffs are a long shot but are a reachable goal this season.
What is the outlook for the teams that you follow?
The Oak Lawn Spartans have lost a lot of seniors, but the juniors that have moved up have really taken it to the next level in practice. They can't wait to start the season against Gage Park. The Spartans also look forward to their late season match-up against Richards, which looks like they may have a chance this year to win. If all goes well for the Spartans, they may be playoff-bound with a possible 6-3 or 7-2 record.
