BIg Games Week #4, Whwere will you be?
Permalink Closed

It's week 4 already and the season is a quarter of the way finished.

There are some big match ups this weekend, here's a few we can think of, but where will you be come Friday or Saturday? And why?

Aledo @ Carthage
Brother Rice @ Mt. Carmel
Belvidere @ Boylan
Libertyville @ Lake Zurich
Althoff @ Mt. Vernon
Richards @ Oak Forest

I am narrowing it down to Batavia/Rochelle or Oswego/Plainfield North.

Why?  Because both Batavia and now Oswego (after shutting out Morris) are ranked teams in my area.  My neighbor plays safety for Batavia and I live in the Oswego school district so they seem like good choices.

I    will   be  at  Dakota  for the  Dakota /Forreston  game.    Forreston is   yet   Untested  by any  ranked  team, and   the    Defending  class 2A  state  champs  are  rebounding  from a  heartbreaking  1  point  loss at  Stockton  last  Friday  night.

This  game   will be  hard  hitting and   The  winner  may  be  decided on the   last   drive  of  the  game.

How bout them Bears?

This is a key matchup for both teams. If LZ is to take the NSC Lake this year, Libertyville is one of the 3 teams to beat. They already proved themselves to Warren and I hope the regular season ends with a week 9 matchup to determine the NSC champion against Stevenson. Bears are definately gaining recognition throughout the Chicagoland area and soon from around the state.

Our speed is deadly.

 Our defense is ruthless.

This is our year. Our year.
