oak forest v lemont-

o/f should level this lemont team, they are all hype, we lost our game to lemont, they did not win the game by any means, we fumbled on 3 seperate occasions inside the red zone, then with under 2mins to play, we did not kick a field goal from the 3 yard line to win the game, tried to win it and then again fumbled on the option.   oak forest needs to watch lemonts o line, they are very good molk and the boys are strong, the fullback very strong kid and runs like a mf'er. and they love to run the draw, geez like every play. molk gets that big body around quickly.  most teams focus on nagle, he is not the threat offensively or defensively, watch the fullback.

oak forest has a solid team, their qb is one hell of a player, they run allot of option and counters, he hides the ball well, they have as a team very big hearts, never say die attitude, keep coming back for more. they have a couple of deep threats, but do not use them much not sure why not. lots of speed on defense.  should be exciting.

mc v rita-

some of the hype surrounding this game is well deserved, they both have very traditional programs, this could be a historical game, just ask anyone from mc or rita. it might just be a good football game, lot back n forth, high scoring games to me mean no defense, but ask any of the fans and they are champs every year.

sacred heart v taylorville-

i have never seen taylorville play so i can not comment, but i have seen sacred hearts offense and when they clicking, they are unstoppable, qb is one of the best i have ever seen at this level, he has great vision, defensively well talented, their team as a group has great discipline and very good continuity, they are my fav for the finals.

alton v o fallon-

ask coach, he says it is going to be a very tough and hard fought game. those are the ones you want to see over and over.

I was at the Neuqua / St Chuck East game last year. Was a great game. Not sure why, but the Neuqua crowd was almost non-exsistent, whiel East had the entire home side at standing room only.

Should be a good match up.

I'll be at Geneva for the Kaneland game tonight.

For those in the far north on Saturday afternoon, Rockford Christian (6-1) visits Alden-Hebron (7-0).  A big battle that'll pretty much decide the Indian Trails Conference champs.  Yes, I realize both are listed as 'Independent' schools in conference listings, but the Indian Trails conference is lacking recognition (I'm guessing) because two of the six teams are Wisconsin-based.  Nevertheless, this should be a great afternoon game that won't keep you from missing any of the Friday night football action.

Indian Trails Conference Standings:

Alden-Hebron 7-0 --- Rockford Christian 6-1 --- Mooseheart 5-2 --- North Shore C.D. 3-4 --- Maranatha Baptist 3-4 --- Wayland Academy 0-5

Hope all of you enjoy the games you see!  What a great time of year...
