Alright, the tight game betwee Richards & Morgan Park could have went either way, no shocker, but the stomping Morris got by Joliet Catholic. Can't say I seen that one coming. Mahomet-Seymour 49 Peoria Manual 0
(Preview)
On a cool Friday night, Mahomet-Seymour was determined not to play down to their competition. Peoria Manual was in town, and they are in a transition period where the talent is not there and it shows on the field. I am not here to bash on Manual, but you have to say how it is. Mahomet had a transition per...

Great football pranks
(Preview)
Back in the day when I was in high school, a few of us from the cherring section would walk over to the oppossing stands with out our school related colors on, and try to swipe any bed sheet style banner we could, then parade it back over to our side like a captured flag game. While I'm not trying to give any oe...

Playoff question
(Preview)
I'm relatively new to Illinois high school sports so please excuse the naive question. I just reviewed the explanation of playoff selection on the IHSA site and understand it to be based largely on a team's record and it's opponents' wins. I don't see anything that says that scores are relevant--poi...

Where are you? Week 6 Edition
(Preview)
Naperville Central (3-2) vs Naperville North (5-0) @ North Central College is always a Great game to watch. NN is the #1 or #2 team in state. But this rivalry is always close no matter the records. That is the best match-up in the DuPage County area. Another lack lust week of matchups.
