Who has the toughest Schedule in the state?

Do you think that your athletic director is trying to make sure your team get a good spot in the 2007 Draft? Does your team's schedule look more like a who's who of high school football than just a regular nine game season?

Last year Richmond-Burton had 7 teams it faced in the regular season make the playoffs, they were 8-1. Savana (west Carroll) & Chicago (Dunbar) also had 7 oppoents make the playoffs as well, they went 5-4. In contrast, the 7A Champs Prospect, only faced 3 playoff teams in the regular season.

Some coaches beleive that playing tougher teams make their team more prepared for the playoffs, but with some players only seeing one season of real action can it make a difference? Ask me again in December. Untill then, let's here about the school you think have the toughest schedule in the state.

I'm going to get this gimmie out of the, because I'd like to see some original posts to this question.

Any team in the DuPage Valley Conference that isn't the Napperville or Wheaton schools, is already a sure thing. That goes for teams in the Catholic League Blue, like Fenwick & DeLaSalle. They have no choice but to play Mt. Carmel, St. Rita, Loyola, & Providence. Please try to give an example out side of these teams.

My vote is for Lemont. If this team finishes 9-0 or 8-1 this season they deserve to stay ranked even if they bow out in the first round. They have 2 games against non-2005 playoff teams. And Tinley HS was right on the bubble in '05. With only one game on their entire schedule that I would say they won't lose, Lemont has a tuff non-conference run (Chatham-Glenwood, Sterling, Richards, & Oak Lawn Comm.) then they head into a conference that isn't filled with state title winners, but has it's share of teams that make the playoffs every year as of late.

Any team in Catholic League Blue. Brother Rice, Mount Carmel, St. Rita, Providence, Loyola, De La Salle, and Fenwick. All these teams have to play each other. The Catholic League Blue is by far the toughest conference in the state.

Catholic Blue is top 3... this "#1 by far" I'd have to see what they did against the DVC & Southwest Suburban

My vote for one of the tougher seasons goes to Mount Carmel (no, the other one in Wabash County). They could play 6 or 7 ranked teams every year. Harrisburg and Robinson in Illinois and Jasper, Boonville, Vincennes Lincoln, and Mt. Vernon in Indiana.
