Just curious, what's the source for these all-state teams (where did you see them listed)?

They were listed in our local newspaper in the prep football area. They also announced them here on local radio.

The only listings in our local paper were for class 1A and 2A. the 6A school here had no one on the state team so I imagine that is why they had no listing here for the larger schools.

The local newspaper also had the area all conference teams listed the same day.

I belive the All- State players receive a plaque at Champaign before their respective State championship game in their class begins.

I am sure the IHSA has a listing of all 8 teams.

I did some searching and found that all 8 classes of All-State teams can be found on the Illinois High School Football Coaches website which is www.ihsfca.com.

I hope this helps all interested parties find their respective teams!!!!!!
